High Intensity Interval Training has, since the mid 1990s, been a favorite of many experienced strength coaches, in particular for the ability to induce weight loss, increase stamina, endurance and improve body phsyique. HIIT has been proven in many studies to require much less time to achieve the same result as traditional cardio-based exercises, so instead of running on the treadmill for an hour, you can get a 15 minute dose of HIIT and get the same results!
